howdy.
i just heard great news that i made 400 bucks at the sale in kent last week.
cha ching. (plus the coop took half the money. i would've normally made close to 800!!)
now i have to determine whether i want to spend it on silver, tools or save for california.
i think i might allow myself to spend maybe 150 on materials so i have something to work with in maine. and hopefully i can make more of that money back after i sell some things.
i had a great birthday weekend. i got to see almost everyone that i love.
i met up with kelli, natalie and kate for lunch/shopping.
and got to see ben at urban too. then i saw kate/lo for dinner/cake.
and watch a movie with kate/joe. and hung out with stormy too!
i just wish both emily's were there. then my circle of friends would've been complete.
i picked up a new wallet, headband, shirt and two pairs of earrings whilst shopping and got a cute jacket, zeppelin tee, dark top and beads from kate.
so i've been organizing and washing my new things.
i also got a starwars poster from kelli and lunch and beers from nat/kate. yum.
i also got to talk to my aunt betsy and cousin scot for a long time. it was nice hearing from them and all things that are new in thier lives.
best birthday i've had in a long long time.
usually mine is pretty uneventful or terribly depressing. but this year i felt very happy and loved. and thats all you need on a birthday.
laura, however got a pens win. so i guess she wins.
what else.
now that i just found out i haven't been removed from health insurance (as i was told i was 6 months ago)
i want to make a few appointments.
my eyes are painfully getting worse, and i could really use new glasses.
and i need a physical before camp where i hope to get this chest bump looked at in a more serious way. i need to do that in the next few weeks.
i've been wanting to do a survey. but haven't found any worth my time.
i'm without work tomorrow. and that will make me a happy girl. i want to paint! |

i've been so giggley lately.
i watched harold and kumar tonight. HILARIOUS as always. freakshow is quite hysterical.
i watched into the wild the other day. it was amazing.
this guy i not so secretly love, jason just left yesterday to hike the appaliacian trail (he is very remincent of the character in that movie) and he said he should me in maine come mid-august and hopefully we'll meet up while we're both there. i kind of forgot about him lately since our last run ins in kent and how bizzare those events were. i met up with him continously for a week out at the zephyr and then the last nights were really weird and tremendously awkward and since then we really haven't talked much. until a few days ago, and i'd gotten a few messages from him before his hike. it conjured up alot of thoughts and ideas lately. my brain has been pretty dead for the past month. nothing new to think about and i stare off into space alot.
hahaha.
i'm feeling very lonely here or at least more misunderstood. because i hang out with the parents alot, and tracy and dave. mostly i'm around lily which isn't much for conversation. i never talk about art or life or politics or anything that i normally want to talk about. and if i do, i feel very misunderstood and ultimately alone.
i guess i knew it would be inevitable here. soon things will change. but i wish it was sooner rather than later. b l a h.
i've been making canvas stretchers and i have 4 ready to start painting. yay. also i hope to buy a big order of silver monday and get to work on ideas that i'm going to start this summer.
i've been thinking about school lately and i have no idea what to think anymore. i need guidance. kathleen is going to call me this week to discuss. i'm very unsure about it all.
what else. ....
i found a huge collection of old records down in the basement last week. mom says most are from college apartments leaving them behind. i found black sabbath, bowie, led zeppelin, allman brothers, ccr, ozzy, and some other shit. i've been listening to them in the basement. (my goal was to set up a traditional basement area with record player, blacklight posters, lavalamps and a neverending stash. haha) i found drawings of hilariousness one of which has a cannibus leaf, rainbows converging to a point, band dames and a block lettering that says "Bongs away"
i'm hoping to get my basement set up ready so i can be a huge stoner/freeloader/disgruntled post college grad-can't face the real world/loser/loner thing going on. i think i can succeed at this.
anywho.

amazing. i just listened to the lengths over and over again and the phrasing is beautiful and the ache of his voice is just golden.
i've been making some jewelry tonight. i made these ADORABLE fish lure earrings and tons of studs and some cool big disk studs with tiny beads inlayed in it. very me.
got some info on some craft shows around here soon to sell some of this junk. i have no expectations of selling much, but i'm not going to put too much effort into it, and not spend much on table fees. i only want to spend maybe 30 bucks. anything pricier is not worth it right now.
i got to get my stuff up on etsy soon. or some internet site. i mean, livejournal can't sell jack.
just thinking about music and some of the things that've been on my mind lately and how beautifully it can relate to eachother.
i had the day off, and it felt good to be lazy.
i must find a part time jobby job. ASAP.

I am a subtle flavour, quiet and polite, gentle, almost ambient. My presence in crowds will often go unnoticed. Best not to spill me on your clothes though, I can leave a nasty stain. What Flavour Are You?
